A WICK FOR ALL SEASONS

Did you know that each of our candles carries a different type of wick: That's right, the wick in our Apple Cinnamon Cake Candle™ is different from the wick in our Pine Nut Cake Candle™ -- and for good reason.

Because each formulation of color, fragrance, wax and size has different burning characteristics, a different wick is necessary to make each candle burn as consistently, cleanly and safely as possible. We are proud of the fact that no lead core wicks have been used in any of our products since 1974!

WAX ELOQUENT

Wax does more than just form the shape of the candle: when it's melted, it becomes the fuel for the flame. It takes a careful formulation of quality ingredients to create strong, brilliant colors and fragrances, and a consistency that makes the candle burn cleanly and safely.

THE HANDMADE DIFFERENCE

We're the only candle manufacturer to compound our own fragrances and colors - so you know each scent is handcrafted and original. Plus, fragrances help fuel the flame, so clean burning fragrances are a must. Some of our cake recipes have more than 200 ingredients. And, our fragrances are blended into our wax, not just layered on the outside. The result is a consistent fragrance that lasts as long as your candle does.

Our method is not the easiest or least expensive way to make candles, but we believe it is the right way - the only way to get the highest quality you have come to know at Hearth & Home®.
