The new, patented Wick Holder stands only 1/2" tall, but the added safety it provides is beyond measure.* This tiny metal device improves candle safety by supporting the flame one half inch above the base of the candle. In addition, it prevents wax (the fuel for the candle) from traveling up the wick once the candle has burned too low, thus reducing the risk of candle fires and flashovers.
